Mama Care Pregnancy Massage

Pregnancy is one of life’s most powerful transitions. Your body is not only growing and adapting to nurture new life it is also navigating profound changes in posture, circulation, fascia, and hormones. These changes are natural, but they can sometimes create challenges that affect your comfort and sense of wellbeing.

Many women experience:

  • Lower back, hip, and pelvic pain

  • Swelling in the legs, feet, or hands

  • Carpal tunnel syndrome or tingling in the arms

  • Sciatica or shooting pains

  • Breathlessness, fatigue, or disrupted sleep

  • Emotional stress, anxiety, or overwhelm

Pregnancy massage offers a safe and supportive space to relieve discomfort, restore balance, and help you feel more connected to yourself and your baby.

How Pregnancy Massage Works

This treatment is more than “massage adapted for pregnancy.” It is a specialised therapy, rooted in the work of Suzanne Yates and developed with the support of Jing Advanced Massage Training, designed to meet your needs at every stage of pregnancy.

We use:

  • Safe positioning: side-lying or semi-reclined for comfort and safety

  • Gentle myofascial release: creating space through the fascia to ease restriction

  • Acupressure points:  chosen to reduce common symptoms such as nausea, swelling, or anxiety

  • Rhythmic, flowing massage: to soothe tension and calm the nervous system encouraging relaxation, grounding, and deeper connection with your baby.

Postnatal Massage

Rebuilding strength and restoring balance after birth.
Whether your birth was vaginal or surgical, your body undergoes significant recovery. Hormonal changes, breastfeeding posture, lifting your baby, and interrupted sleep can all create physical and emotional strain.

Postnatal massage offers:

  • Relief from back, neck, and shoulder pain

  • Support for pelvic floor and abdominal recovery

  • Gentle rebalancing of fascia and posture

  • A safe, restorative space for nervous system reset

Treatments are adapted to your stage of recovery and can begin as soon as you feel ready.

“Violet instinctively seemed to know exactly what I needed all the way through my pregnancy and beyond. Coming to Violet before and after I gave birth to my daughter gave me space in an environment I felt safe and understood in. As well as pre and post natal massage, I also had some incredible lymphatic drainage sessions which i would highly recommend.”
